Gallery M Platform is pleased to announce our participation in the StART Fair London 2023 held at Saatchi Gallery from 11th to 15th October. We will feature a selection of the latest works of our outstanding artists, OH+, So Young Kim, Prachi Gothi, and Beom Jun.

OH+’s work seeks to address one of the prevalent issues of our time, interrogating the problems surrounding our endless exposure to social media and the idolised and unrealistic portrayal of the self that this often entails. Her use of vivid and fresh colours, as well as delicate details such as in her tropical flowers and leaves, alludes to the visual niceties and trappings of social media and its popular appeal. 

Kim explores and examines the distortion of images by collecting a range of images that are assembled by her expressive and vibrant colours painted onto the canvas, where these images no longer exist as fragments of something but as an original.

Gothi’s work explores the ephemeral bridge between reality and imagination, sourcing into themes of daydreams and fantasies that evoke suppressed emotions of longing, hope, and nostalgia that can surface in moments of solitude.

Jun challenges the perception and blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination, and encourages viewers to understand the interconnection of existence and the ever-changing nature of life narratives.

The exhibition is a testament to the boundless possibilities of artistic expression, and we believe you will find them both captivating and thought-provoking.
